Lisa says: Okay people, here it is, straight form the mouth of a 15 year old lass. Her views on the world. Just thought I would share this with you. You may or may not agree with most of it, that doesn't matter, what matters is that this is what she thinks--though much of it was recorded with a great sense of humor! Maybe if we all thought about the problems with the world today we could start to make some changes, start to choose better priorities...
Reasons Civilisation is Doomed Civilisation is doomed. Not because of the inevitable dimming of our sun, or an errant asteroid, but rather because of the idiocy humans.
Reason #1: I'm not ruler of the world Reason #2: Web sites dedicated to “CREATIVE WAYS OF KILLING PEOPLE” Reason #3: Post-It Notes. The ancient forests are turning into Post-It Notes, my friends. Reason #4: People who hate golf. They are the reason that civilization is doomed! Reason #5: The new golden rule is "it’s all about me". Reason #6: “Hair down there” removal. Reason #10: pokemons & digimons... chinese, Japanese , dirty knees, look at these. Reason #11: The word "like" has become a comma and people don't care enough about grammar to realize "anyways" isn't a word! Reason #12: 14 yr. old white nationalists who believe hitler was "a great man"...what is the world coming to.... Reason #13: Self-tanning products Reason #14: People who are famous purely for being the offspring of the very rich Reason #15: Valet parking. What a bunch of lazy asses we've become. Reason #16: Parents who put their kids on leashes in a shopping mall. Reason #17: Men with nail guns. (That's a big worry) - The decline of the hammer. Reason #18: Glow in the dark Taiwanese pigs Reason #19: Flip-Flops (The irredeemably hideous plastic footwear) Reason #20: that gay couples aren't allowed to adopt any of the millions of children sitting in orphanages right now because conservative America uses the excuse that they don't want these children to grow up without a father or mother figure. Yet how many households out there consist of single moms. Why is it ok for these children to grow up without father figures? If you’re going to make up an excuse so that you don't sound like an ass at least think it through more. Reason #21: Emo: the kids, the bands, and the sad, sad people who call it a "lifestyle." (again: just my opinion) Reason #22: Men's bathrooms WITHOUT baby-changing stations. Reason #23: People with the worst tastes in music are too often those with the loudest stereos. Reason #24: Aspartame & MSG. Seriously bad stuff, google it for yourself. Reason #25: All forms of hatred Reason #26: Lists Reason #27: My Little Pony. Brain-washing our youth.
